    total tosh.

Asking direct questions is far from an attack, you really are ridiculous.

I genuinely did not intend to come over as patronising in my response and I only ever engaged with Lewis on MSE. He tried to sabotage the P118 forum but was banned quickly as you know so he came here. Are you really suggesting that anyone who advocates breaking the law is welcome on here? I'm sorry, I certainly don't want to pick a fight with you too. I appreciate that you're only trying to be sensible.

This a good open forum where people come from advice regarding mortgages. Not a battle ground for complex legal issues. Property118 is a different forum with a different agenda. Not least that the forums objective is totally related to Letting Property and related topics.

Plenty of people who post on MSE break the law or contravene rules. They receive short shrift. Totally up to them whether they listen or not. Hopefully more do than don't.

People get banned on here too. Though it has to be pretty extreme. No one is banned for daring to voice a negative opinion. Something I am thankfull for. I doubt that the same can be said for Property118. Judging by the comments I've read (said as a neutral).

Lewis Ranieri, aka Stephen King, aka Stephen Night, etc by his own admission has set out to destroy something that I and others have put a lot of effort into. He has chosen this website and this board to do it. I'm merely defending myself by putting up a robust challenge to his efforts. I'll be very happy to go away as soon as the administrators of this website deny him the tools he uses for his attacks.

I endorse this.. some people have worked very hard and sacrificed a lot to get West Brom to court.

What this man is doing is criminal, and slightly deranged.

Fortunately he is too late to derail things. We have raised the funds and proceedings start shortly.

But a lot of people are relying on this and idiots like Stephen Knight have no place on this or any forum.

Oh all right Stephen you've got me. I'll call myself Alex for now. But what about next time? Don't get paranoid now. Work with me on this....

You seem like a sensible chap... when it comes to negative comments regarding 118 they have solely come from one person.
Surely you can see this is not a representative opinion.

I agree this is a good forum and I'm thankful it exists. You just have a bad poster here who is openly accusing people of dishonesty, fraud an theft. That's a bit more serious than negative opinion. We can't all stand by and let bad people get away with it.

Antrobus - it won't be, for obvious reasons. You are reading the Judgement. If you read the File it would give you an insight.

    Excuse me but you did say;
...Miriam Freeman vs Bank of Scotland (Ireland) full trial on Securitisation off the back of the POA - read it -.

If you didn't expect someone to read the judgement, what did you expect us to read?

Can you do a link to the file please

Indeed. How can we 'read' this 'file' unless we have a copy to read.:)

On the other hand, I've actually posted a link to the judgement so that anyone can see that (a) it makes no mention of this 'power of attorney' and (b) that the case was not a " full trial on Securitisation", but rather a preliminary hearing at which the defendants (being the Bank of Scotland) managed to get most of the case dismissed on the grounds that the claims were "frivolous and vexatious".

But hey, what do I know? I don't have access to the super-secret file where the truth is to be found.:rotfl:

    He is. On the whole.:)

He just hasn't yet twigged that the Poster Known As Lewis Ranieri is in fact a freemen on the land fruitcake.:)

I think Mike, it would help Stephen if we all called ourselves Mark.

His paranoia must be going into overdrive.:T:T:T

I'm signing off now laughing. :rotfl: Speak to you tomorrow Stephen, I'll know who you are. All I have to look for is irrelevant long rants about POA. Will you be able to spot me though? ;)

    Surely it couldn't be plainer.

Thanks for your input and for adding a neutral perspective. As a group Property118 are landlords who have been let down badly by West Brom Building Society. We signed lifetime tracker mortgages based on Bank of England base rate. We took the hit when rates were high and reaped the benefits when rates dropped.. To arbitrarily lift the rates simply because WB are not making money on the deal is fundamentally wrong, and like anyone else, we are fighting it.
