4g on Iphone 5s with O2.
Hi
I have just upgraded to the new iphone 5s with o2 on a 4g contract. I have just been told that where i live (Nottingham) is going 4g live on 30th Sept and I have heard that Apple themselves need to do an update patch for the 5s so that the new phone on the O2 network can connect to the 4g service, as at present it is not able to pick a 4g signal up and that this may take weeks or months to process?!.
I just wanted to know if anyone else who is on O2 4g in London, Bradford or Leeds had any problems with their Iphone 5S phone when 4g went live in their cities of whether it was just a case of the phone picking a 4g up straight away. Any help/info would be much appreciated on this topic.
Many Thanks

Apparently Apple engineers haven't "signed off" the o2 4g network yet - I'm assuming they have some benchmark tests that the network must pass before they'll deem it acceptable to work on their phones.
This is why Apple don't yet mention o2 as one of their 4g carriers. My friend works for o2 and reckons it should be any time soon but no date has yet been given.0
