I want to replace my kitchen sink for a new one with a mixer tap on it. The old current sink has 2 separate taps that come directly out of the kitchen work top and not the actual sink.
So, if I replace the sink with one with a mixer tap, I will be left with 2 holes in the work top.
What is the best way to deal with these in the way of covering them up apart from replacing the whole kitchen work top?

I had the same problem, I purchased a Franke Trispray tap which has an extendable sprayer that filled the other hole, alternatively you could fill the other hole with a filtered water tap.0

Buy a mixer tap that is not a Monobloc (i.e. one that has separate hot and cold entries). No free lunch, and no free laptop0

How will that result in covering up the old holes?
Reason why I want a new sink with tap attached is because the 2 separate taps that are cut into the bench hardly make it over the sink. Which makes washing up difficult and spraying water all over the work top around the tap area.0 -
It won't. Consider a long reach tap like this or similar.0

Ah, I see what you mean now! Is it not possible to buy a sink that is not pre-cut for the taps, and put the new mixer into the existing worktop holes?
It should be possible to find a non-Monobloc mixer that has sufficient spout reach, unless the holes are very distant from the sink edge?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks all, might consider a bridge tap and keep the existing sink.0

Easy: http://www.screwfix.com/p/tap-hole-stopper-chrome/40626
Doh - realised you're talking about holes in the wood, not the sink.0 -
