DS2 had a nasty bike crash this morning. He was using DH's bike and it is mangled. The repair is £45-50. More than the new to us bike cost. DS2 needed driving to school on account of his bruised and bleeding leg.
Ouch! Hope he's ok.
its vodka time

:rotfl: I've just got a cuppa

I've just washed half the conservatory windows and frames. Will need to paint the windowsills and skirting but I may get away with just washing the walls. I'm really happy with my new room :T. Might do another HH window clean when I've got the kiddies to bed. No point doing the floor yet I suppose - bit more sweeping maybe but the roofer will be back tomorrow with some interior trim for where the roof was raised to leave a small gap for my blind rails.

Am I allowed to say I'm a bit emotional over the end of "Tangled" :o:D

Evening all TGIF night

DS3 has been to a friend after school for the first time (at secondary) he had a lovely time and the family seem lovely.

DS2 at work and I've cashed in my prescription, just remembered I have washing on the line and beds to make.

Mumto5 hope DS2 is ok, he must have been very shaken up.

Bossy conservatory is looking good x

Sorry to shout but WE HAVE A FLUSHING TOILET at last.
Bathroom is looking good. The glass border tiles have a green tinge to them so probably will get a couple of pale green hand towels and a bath mat. Will recycle blue ones. Will still be able to use the white sets so partly MSE.

Financial s/s updated
Replacement kitchen tap purchased
Mr M's visited (saw a massive rat in the car park :( )

Thanks ladies, DS2 is ok. OK enough to go to football training tonight. Ever feel like you've been had? It was foot pain on Monday, a headache on Wednesday and the bike accident today. My petrol costs are increasing rapidly.

DH has agreed to purchase another combi oven. Our current one works well as a microwave and grill but the oven function is broken and cannot be fixed. They are soooooooo expensive! We are having a houseful for the event towards the end of December and will struggle without a second oven. We are trying to decide if it's worth selling it on Eb@y as a microwave/grill.

No updates from Mum about my uncle. My sister has bypassed me completely and is texting DH who is very bemused by it all.

A friend has invited me round to watch Strictly. The wine is chilling so I'm off.

Not caught up with the thread today. Went out for sealant this morning and came back having ordered a new 3 piece. Very MSE as it was in the end of season sale and had just been taken off the shop floor. So half the price it had been.

Dailies done.
Kitchen and bathroom S&Sed.
Cat stuff done.

Living room will get sorted over the weekend as I want to move things around.

Belated birthday greetings to those who had a birthday.
Belated anniversary greetings as well.
• Ironing all done - have an empty basket :j

WM on - just need to hang on indoor line.
Bed stripped and remade with fresh linen
Ironed clothes put away

Deco x
