carphone warehouse -any good??

Have been looking at taking out a new phone contract. CPW seem to be cheaper and networks direct won't match the deal I can get thru them.

How have people found contracts with them?

My last few contracts are with them and have been fab, I would never however advise you to have a phone delivered to your home as they use Yodel, my last phone took 7 weeks to arrive as the first 8 were stolen by workers at Yodel.

I think the Yodel employees must make a living out of stolen phones; it seems almost normal when companies employ them. Still, they are no doubt very cheap.

As long as you have done your own research, I'm sure you'll be fine. Our experience was to be told the deal we'd seen online wasn't available (untrue), talked down to (apparently he knew what we needed better than we did) and strongly pressured towards signing a more expensive contract for a cheaper phone with less included.

To be fair, they weren't the only shop pushing poor-value contracts for that particular supplier, who must have been paying a lot of commission that month.

We walked out and bought online...did I mention...do your homework?
