I want a moisture meter to check the moisture levels of my seasoning logs but don't want to spend too much. Has anyone got any reccomendations or experience for a good value one?

I got the cheapest nastiest one from ebay - about £8-£9 - and it's fine. Always split the log to check the inner moisture - something kiln dried can be 20% on the outside surface and still 30% or more when you split it open.0

I need one too.0 -
Be a bit cautious about eBay meters. Mrs Badger bought me one via eBay and it failed. The replacement failed a couple of months later. It's probably worth buying a decent barnd.0

I got a Stihl one in the end as I had a discount voucher for a local hardware shop which sells them. I think full price was about £18ish. I'm pretty happy with it. It's handy for checking the damp patches around the house too.0 -
I've got one of these and have found it to be good with a long battery life.
Also sold in B&Q (if you don't mind paying the premium price compared to e-bay).

I don't want to sound 'smug' but, my log burner came with a moisture meter, fireproof glove and a little ash shovel, the perfect size and shape for the burner and paid about 10% less than RRP.
I LOVE MY LOG BURNER0
