Hello again!:):)
I don't know if this might be of use to anyone:rotfl:. This time I'll start off with some of the results from my M collection (not available to Northern Ireland) and then explain how I reached them. I've only listed the items that I've found available in M. I've given alternative comparison prices (but only where they are good;)) in case it goes belly-up vs M.
Regarding the 250ml VO5 Shampoos/Conditioners at the end, I'd say no crafty mixing and matching vs M (on the two items you want to appear and compare). I think it's safer if you buy 2 of the same one, to try to pick up M's mbuy rather than 1 of one and 1 of another as that risks one or other of them turning up N/A and thus messing the price of the other one up. They are £2.99 individually in M. Or you're asking for the multi in M to be recognised on both of the two different ones, as opposed to only one (if you stick to that).
Dove Body Wash - Deeply Nourishing (500ml)
A £3.90, T £2.00, S £2.00 (until 15/10, i.e. 14/10), W £1.99 (until 8/10 i.e. 7/10), M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Dove Go Fresh Body Wash - Burst Nectarine & White Ginger (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00 (until 15/10, i.e. 14/10), M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Dove Pro Age Body Wash (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00 (until 15/10, i.e. 14/10), W £1.99 (until 8/10, i.e. 7/10), M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Dove Essential Nourishment Body Lotion - Dry Skin (250ml)
A £4.00, T £1.99 (until 7/10, i.e. 6/10), M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Alberto VO5 Nourish Me Truly Shampoo (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00, M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Alberto VO5 Nourish Me Truly Conditioner (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00, M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Alberto VO5 Revive Me Daily Shampoo (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00, M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
Alberto VO5 Revive Me Daily Conditioner (500ml)
A £3.90, S £2.00, M £1.95 ("until 20/10")
2x Alberto VO5 Shampoo & Conditioner 2in 1 - Clean Up (250ml)
A £3.00x2, M Any 2 for £5.00 ("until 13/10")
2x Alberto VO5 Shampoo Clean Up (250ml)
A £3.00x2, M Any 2 for £5.00 ("until 13/10")
2x Alberto VO5 Shampoo Flake Off (250ml)
A £3.00x2, M Any 2 for £5.00 ("until 13/10")
Sains £2.99 each on the 2 in 1 version of the Clean Up, and the Flake Off, N/A on straight Clean Up. Just so you know.
Pantenes still on £1.84 in M. Also the Sanex 500mls still on (vs M). Herbal Essence shampoos/conds., however, stubbornly stuck on full price.0 -
I'm back from M of course and the headline result:
Loose Sprouts are £2.49/kg.
:rotfl::rotfl:
Alright, not really the headline - instead, of more significance, I looked for the Doves. I thought it was a no-go at first, as I found some 250ml:( ones, e.g. the Purely Pampering Beauty Cream Wash on full price (£3.99:eek:) and no sign of any 500ml ones. Then I turned round the corner, into the next aisle... and there they were!!:j:j Several 500ml Doves, all on half price:T. I nearly lost everything else on my collection at that point:rotfl:. Details of those Doves are in the previous post!
The Dove Go Fresh (for women) APDs (250ml) are Avs T at £1.62 (M being 2 for £5:eek: on the ones they have).
As for what else, I thought it would be 'not much change'. It turned out to be a little more than that - there were occasional changes throughout the collection, not as many as there have been before - but some new offers (not really headline-grabbing) and a few 'crafty' price increases as well. I'll try and create the 'carryovers' list in a moment.
In summary:
Loose Marrow going to go back on (now found it again, at £1).
Avocado Ripen at Home 4 pack back on £1 (Tvs M item) - higher price in M stated to have applied during 9/9-29/9, so it's clearly on £1 in M now (just in case you need extra to convince Mr T).
Chinese and Indian meals same price set-up as before. A couple of Indian Meals on straight £2 and not part of mbuy mix and match. The rest of the Indian meals, and all the Chinese meals, on £2.59 straight and mix and match any 2 for £4.00. I've got details of more sides, sadly no time to mention or add them till Thursday night.
A lot of change on the crisps this week (in the sense of offers having now expired). Also the tea and about half of the coffee now off.
The M 50g Porridge pots - they have a special offer on them: they want you to pay £2 for getting three of them this week. As opposed the offer last week being 2 for £1. So I'm removing those from the list.
I'm not interested in any Hellmann's Mayonnaise now. Nor am I bothering with cooking sauces unless they're 750g ones on £1.30 or less. £1 for 500g is very expensive. But the Lasagne sauces I may allow to pass. Off the Ragu ones and onto the Dolmio ones now (offer due to be on till 20/10).
The Branston sauces offers have gone. Brand wise, I'm onto Daddies 400g sauces vs T. Otherwise, Heinz Topdown Tomato 910g or HP Sauce Squeezy 425g (which may or may not be available in A).
The only Cathedral City 350g I found on offer in M is the Cathedral Extra Mature 350g at £3.00:(. Not the best possible price to my liking and probably better prices on others elsewhere.
A few of the cleaning products have changed: Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker now up to full price, and Flash Bathroom and Kitchen Sprays being removed as well - now on A's Kitchen with Bleach Cleaner (500ml) vs M at 2 for £1.50 until 20/10.
Aunt Bessie's Bramley Apple Pie 550g now onto Avs W only - I found an offer label of £1 in M but a SEL of £1.50, so I'm considering it a risk. Moreover, I think this is a fairly new product and returned N/A for M the previous offer time before.
The Pedigree Dentastix now moved onto a different size.
The Dove and Alberto ones you already know of. As for other items in the 3 for £5 (probably not a good time to be looking on msm as to what's in the 3 for £5, as it seems a lot of mbuys for A currently off at the moment in that area:rotfl:) - the Sanex Bath Creams now have an offer label of £1.49 (until 13/10) but SELs of £1.57. So, take your pick!!:)
Going round to the meal supplements, and then to the baby aisle, how about this one:
Slim-fast Simply Vanilla Flavour 325ml
£1.55 in A, and 49p in M ("whilst stocks last"). Good one if they pick that one up.
Finally, lots of baby offers now over - only the Milton products remaining - Milton Sterilising Fluid, which was "£2 until 29/9" now staying on £2.
Okay - I'll try and get the list to the 'carryovers' stage now, and goodnight!!:D:):)

Evening/morning folks. I can't sleep. I went to asda tonight to spend two APGs. Was told that I'm only allowed to spend 15.00 in one transaction!!
So what do I do with this 20.05 one I have ???
I'm really upset.
I tried going to another till an hour later, and the same SV came up. She called over a manager and they threatened me with a ban from the store!! All I was trying to do was spend my APGs!!
I did not know the people behind me in the queue, but it was still embarrassing, when I was told loudly that the next time I tired to spend over 15.00 in one transaction, I would get a banning!
Do you think I ought to complain to head office? Or do I keep my head down.

I will add, it was one of those where I went to a till with a nice young lad on, and at the last minute, the young lad went off to lunch, and a major trout jumped on. Something that happens a lot to me! sometimes, if I have a few things, i'll gather them up and move tills, but on this occasion thought i'd risk it. What are Asda doing ??? They told me it was a copmany policy.
When I asked to see WHERE in the T&C's does it say this - Igot the same response.. Its company policy. So in the end she phoned a manager, and came back with: Even one of the main managers are saying its company policy.
I told her: Well, its a pity even your managers edont know you own cmpany policy!!! I spent an hour there over a poxy 9.98 shop!
