Well now I'm (almost) keeping up with these forums again, I'm going to have a good moan :mad::mad:

I remember 12-18 months ago when I frequented these boards, people used to speak about mass scrums at the whoopsie section. I felt quite lucky at the time. My local was very civilised. No scrums, just a few regulars stood in orderly fashion, taking one item each, the person at the front passing to those at the back. Everyone got a share, there was great banter with the staff too.

Last few months though everything has changed. almost to the point I don't even venture near that area (last two times I've passed I've walked straight on by).

The old regulars don't bother either.. Vultures is how I'd describe the people now. Snatching up what they can, not letting anyone in, crowding around the staff to the point they can barely move. Sad to see it go that way.

There is one little Eastern European woman who just barges to the front with her trolley. Last week she slammed her trolley straight into my partner, I told her she needed to calm down and asked her what she was playing at.. Either she didn't understand me or didn't care and just went on, blanked me completely.

Tonight I'm going to attempt the whoopsie section.. Might sound stupid to some but for me it's quite sad how the whole thing has deteriated, and the look on the staff face speaks volumes, they don't speak any more they just get in and out.

Get yourself a few select items to add to her trolley :D you know the sort of thing when she isn't looking, some lube, piles cream, Lacey Knicks, lol then take a seat when she goes thru checkout

I think the ones that are being cancelled due to 'technical problems' are the ones where the order came up a blank on their system. If you got an email confirmation you should get an email like scamps did?

Agreed EMMAP, the one I've had cancelled is the one where an error came up on submitting, and shows nothing ordered when clicking 'view order'.

My son in law trains strongman too but is a lower weight to you. He does a fair few competitions but not in it to win it really. He helps out at events too and helps others train.
