Actually have had quite an exciting morningWent to an appointment with OH. He's finally agreed to join a project locally for injured serving/ex serving personnel. It's a fab project, they have a community garden and lots of stuff going on with that.
He's agreed to attend for 6 weeks initially to help with a project they're starting soon. Making planters for local war memorials.....he's quite handy so it's right up his street. And finally he will be having some contact with the outside world again!!

Well now I'm (almost) keeping up with these forums again, I'm going to have a good moan :mad::mad::mad:
I remember 12-18 months ago when I frequented these boards, people used to speak about mass scrums at the whoopsie section. I felt quite lucky at the time. My local was very civilised. No scrums, just a few regulars stood in orderly fashion, taking one item each, the person at the front passing to those at the back. Everyone got a share, there was great banter with the staff too.
Last few months though everything has changed. almost to the point I don't even venture near that area (last two times I've passed I've walked straight on by).
The old regulars don't bother either.. Vultures is how I'd describe the people now. Snatching up what they can, not letting anyone in, crowding around the staff to the point they can barely move. Sad to see it go that way.
There is one little Eastern European woman who just barges to the front with her trolley. Last week she slammed her trolley straight into my partner, I told her she needed to calm down and asked her what she was playing at.. Either she didn't understand me or didn't care and just went on, blanked me completely.
Tonight I'm going to attempt the whoopsie section.. Might sound stupid to some but for me it's quite sad how the whole thing has deteriated, and the look on the staff face speaks volumes, they don't speak any more they just get in and out.0 -
:eek::eek::eek::eek: I have a phobia of wasps, I recommend moving house.:eek::eek::eek:
that's a little extreme but we did change the loft hatch door very swiftly after the nest had been destroyed. Now have a nice plastic one with a proper loft ladder as OH saw me one day with the step ladder trying to hide stuff lol I know have a special little spot right beside the hatch with my "Xmas 2013" boxes so I can quickly hide stuff :cool:

They didn't use the proper pic they took of me, I suspect because they only want ultra skinnie Minnie's promoting their range, so I want to show them that they're wrong!
All votes gratefully received please folks
