We are not allowed to use black bags anymore, Monmouthshire council give us a roll of grey bags instead, we are allowed to put a MAXIMUM of 2 out per week.
I live in a culdesac and all the bags for about 6 or 7 houses get placed collectively in the corner...I wonder if the bin men count them
we have a wheelie bin for house waste and can also put out extra if want , i only ever have 2 black bags in it as i recycle so much last week i had 9 paper recycling and 12 plastic and two can boxes (i hate the smell of a bin so very little goes in there i even recycle the food we have a separte collection but only one bag a week i use as i hate food waste and genraly make o/h and kids eat whats on there plate or no desert:o:rotfl:
i dont understand why people would fill lots of black bags leaving them stink the place up for 2 weeks:eek:(that how often collection is for black bags around here and on bin day take risk of them splitting on you:eek: if you dont have wheelie bin also all the bags i see split over the road is awfull your council tax pays to clean that what a waste i think
also recycling is great to teach kidseven my kids 3 and 5 are well trained in it my dd brings her pack lunch packgen home to recycle as school just bins it in genral waste bin
:o
im not the recycling police or saying what people should or shouldnt do just saying how much better i find it to recycle than have lots of stinky bin bags :T:T:o

Here goes to restarting my diet, have reset my signature.
Breakfast was a very big mug of black tea. Won't chance any fruit just yet as I think as soon as I start to eat I will want more. :rotfl:
Just realised not weighed myself yet to check my start weight, better do that.

Both my DS's are now at uni, so I've been clearing/sorting/tidying, partly to take my mind off the empty house now.
Also seriously need to retain as much of my salary this month as I can, there's very little left already, after DD's/Visa bill/car insurance
Amazing just how much of everything there is, so many things bought as fillers over various glitches, and as you say NeverTooOld, the freezers get so full too. I've only the one, but is packed with pizza's, cheese and whoopsies
For instance, found 11 jellies!
So today's dinner will be whoopsied salmon fillets(just removed from freezer) with potato salad (still have so much mayonnaise to use up from last summers Tesco's fuel promo) and salad. Followed by lime jelly (already made up and cooling)
Will keep you updated, maybe not every day, but will let you know how I get on!
Edited to add, last night's dinner was a dinner kit, BBE 2010 !!, and I'm still herelol
i had one of the mums from school over few weeks back for lunch as i was making lunch she came out the kitchen and seen the ham packet it was a co-op (finest ham ) but id got it out freezer in morning before she came it was dated 12/3/2011 she asked me how i bought that and she cant eat it she be ill :rotfl::rotfl:
i explained that id frozzen it she looked at me like i was an alien :rotfl::rotfl:
i had to take her too look in my freezer to show her all the woopsied food
she culdnt belive i "eat out of date food":D
i made her tuna in the end ate the ham my self STILL HERE:j:Twhen i explained you can freeze meat on the day it goes off and get it super cheap and defost and eat when u want it she took ages to belive me but said she culdnt do it :rotfl:
iasked her how much she spends each week on meat and she said about £30-50 depends on sunday roast meat
she also asked where i keep the fish fingers etc for the kids and when i said we only eat pizza as a "treat" ;)and kids eat same as me she was gob smacked
tbh i wont waste valuble space with boxes for fish fingers as woopsies are great where i live:o
