    Xmas Saver!
Well, at least they are light grey NOT totally see through as they wanted us to have. I have been known to put a black bag inside one & they took it. We'd just stocked up on black bags when the light grey ones arrived.

I WISH they would allow us to have bins. We have to have three stacking bins in the kitchen to sort items. It's a pain!

Mildred are your food bags (the green ones) totally useless? Every batch we've had has split when you open them - worse than useless!

Oh those green ones, they are totally feeble

Did your bags arrive in a small hessian bag?...my mum thought that was the garden waste bag :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all.
    Welcome back SFSB.

Any Huey Lewis fans out there??? I saw them at the O2, Shepherd's Bush last night. Man they were fantastic. Such a good show. I even got the T-shirt.I was singing all the way home.

    Happy Wednesday y'all

I saw them in Nottingham back in the 80s. They were fab then too! Glad you had a good night.

Thanks for the offer tom, but I would like my own. ;)

No chance of that for a while, I will have to get pic of my bathroom on here one day so you can all see there is absoulutely no room for a bath. :o

    :o

My front garden is the size of a picnic rug - so along with a Monkey Puzzle tree, palm tree & large Yucca - I now have to fit in a huge wheelie bin & 3 different different coloured recycling boxes... and a small green compost recycling bin :(

The only up side is the Bin Men now come & collect from the garden, rather than us having to take it to a central collection point in Square :)

Yes they did - OMG your mum must have a very small garden!:rotfl:

I really resent the fact that they are now charging us extra for garden waste. They flog everything so we shouldn't have to pay more. We pay enough for council tax as it is.

Do they really think everyone has enough room for 3 big plastic sacks, a waste food container and garden waste. It's not as if you can leave open bags outside. HATE Monmouth council with a vengeance!
