Normal service has resumed! My flat mates used to find glasses, bowls, newspapers, all sorts on the floor around the flat. Eventually they stopped asking why and just accepted there would be some kind of creepy crawly under it- dead or alive.

Banana, this is the sort of kit I meant, just try to get the right thickness of rope (if in doubt, buy 2 and see which fits the best, thats what I had to do.
