    It's D-Day-1 STOPTOBER. Here's my strategy.

    ---> empty the house of any booze.
    ---> give wife key to secure shed (padlocked) where I store booze and the big ladder to attic where I also store booze
    ---> don't buy booze
    ---> don't drink booze eg by going to pub
    ---> take exercise daily, target 1 hour minimum daily
    ---> swimming
    ---> walking
    ---> cycling
    ---> weigh myself daily and calculate BMI (should provide encouragement)
    ---> make determined effort to eat my 5 a day
    ---> skip a few meals or just have an Ainsley soup (c.120 calories and filling)
    ---> count off the days remaining and the days succeeded
    ---> be honest
    ---> drive everybody here mad with telling them how well I'm doing
    ---> provide encouragement to other STOPTOBEREES especially smokers as that is probably harder to stop
    ---> go to Dr for annual health MOT round about 20th October
    ---> clap myself on the back every day and be really irritating

    Lots of dettol stuff £2 CB for any 2. Lots of the hand wash included is £1 in both T and A. Also A have dettol sprays £1.80 on offer 2 for £2. I have at least 2 of these included in cb offer
    HTH!!

    Just been looking at Dettol E45 handwash as missed out on glitch but atm they are A's £2.50 each (but 2 for £3) and S's £1.25 each. If you buy in targetted shop net cost will be £1.13 if you buy one BUT if they will take moc it will be 13p.

  • BNI korma comparison has worsened by 5p x multiple

    4x
    T.BIG NIGHT IN INDIAN CKN KORMA & RICE 450G
    - £12.00 † £9.60 n/a £8.00 4x
    T.BIG NIGHT IN CHINESE 6 MINI VEG ROLLS 100G
    - £6.00 † £4.00 n/a n/a

    I THINK that you'd be better off trying to compare to Morrisons and buying the veg. samosas with the Korma. If memory serves me the Kormas give £1 PP and each Samosa either 50p or 75p???

    Anyone got a womble they can check on please?

    Sorry to quote myself but should also give PP in a T v S shop but you can buy more than one but obviously won't get the extra 10% (I do hope I am making sense here :o) - hth.

    Morning all. Liking the strategy, Squillion, I know I ought to join you but I'm a weak willed woman and I like my wine. We'll see. There was a very interesting article I read recently about a woman who gave up alcohol for a month and it did wonders for her skin and her general appearance. Going for a week would be a real achievement for me.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Morning all

    this has probably already mentioned but on MSL today most items are buyany 2 and get £2 cashback so works out a few free items:):)

    Alternatively, buy the items, submit the receipts to MSL, hear nothing despite repeated emails via outlook/facebook/MSM website, and end up paying full price after all :mad:
