Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
    I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds
  • Boohoo! I think I've been had by not asking a question clearly enough.

So the trigger has to be either Radox or N-Spa or VO5 Youth?

ISTR asking if I could buy any V05 [as a trigger] and the answer came back yes but make sure the price is lower in S.

But is it the case that using one of the 3 triggers above is better financially?

Still waiting on the results but that lot's going back if so, I was only buying the toiletries because I thought they'd be nearly free.

No, cos you've paid £5 in a but not on apg.. No money back paid £5..

I appreciate it can be frustrating/confusing getting your head around this - I messed up a fair few shops in my time with not enough comparing items, wrong trigger etc.

I don't recall seeing you or anyone asking if you could use V05 as a trigger, as that hasn't been listed as a trigger at all unless I have missed it? I understood you were asking whether any V05 would work alongside the trigger, which I answered yes it should but check the price that you are matching against. Looking back, ChrisV had posted a link with pictures for you of the V05s in the offer to use alongside the trigger.

The price of the trigger is in some ways irrelevant as it is going to be missing from the comparison/APG - though I suppose getting the most expensive one makes sense if you can/need it as you then have a potentially better higher value item (and therefore a better return overall in terms of products for your £s spent ... or indeed not if get get some of the items where they paid you to take them away ;))?

    Why £5.22?

10 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison @ Sainsbob

    3 x ASDA Scottish Fresh Semi Skimmed Milk 6 Pints £4.44 £5.67
    1 x McVitie's Penguin Bars (9x24g)£1.30 £1.00
1 x Simple Pure Soap for Sensitive Skin (4x125g)£2.40 £1.20
    2 x Simple Baby Moisturising Shampoo (300ml)£3.00 £1.32
    1 x Simple Baby All-in-One Wash (300ml)£1.50 £0.66
    1 x Simple Baby Moisturising Bath (300ml)£1.50 £0.66
    1 x Dentinox Teething Gel (15g)£1.34 £0.89
6 x ASDA Chosen by You Pear Slices in Juice (1Kg)£3.00 N/A

    Comparison total (compared products only)£15.48£11.40

I messed up with the milk but I needed it anyway. Penguins were half price on MSM cashback and only £1 in Sainsbob so I think they work out at 25p. Plus I get £1.50 refund for the pear slices.
Many a mickle makes a muckle.
