Sadly I did not fit this criteria. As a mature student caring for 5 kids between 5-11 years old and working part-time, I never had time. In my three years of studying I had a half a lager and felt drunk... but I have made up for it since... but only a little! I do have to admit I am pleased my kids have had the opportunity to live the student life fully.
    :T:T:T

I've been back and corrected my post.

    Side apparently meant we'd

You're just making up for lost time

Day one of operation ignore the ex going well. How you doing Elsie? :)

I might pop to As tomorrow to get some shampoo and other bits. Can't hurt to have free shampoo, right?

    Hey EMMAP,

Thanks for asking.... Glad you doing better.

Well I am 18 months down that road now, so although I do still check up on the g!t I do this I think in the hope more that he's single again..... not coz I ever want him back, but coz I want him to have some idea of what he put me and my DS through.

Actually I've had quite a busy day.....
Sorted out getting the car I bought, but have decided it's staying on my sisters driveway till the end of the month as I have to tax it, and being MSE, am I going to tax it for a week but pay for a month.... me thinks not. Off to the post office in the morning for a SORN. It's insured, but so is my old car with tax that ends this month, so i'll carry on driving the old heap!

Then went to see Mum in the hospital.... not a good day, I ended up doing a lot of stuff that should have been down to staff due to infection control, but if I hadn't done it, I don't know who would have done! I think she had a bad night, because the ward didn't have enough staff then either, and they put their priority, obviously, into patient with life threatening conditions. My issue is, if they don't deal with the problem she has now, could it potentially become life threatening? They have ran some tests, but very little seems to be getting done apart from keeping her fluids up with a potassium and sodium drip. Dashed to A's to get stuff she needed, off to bus stop to get DS after college, then stuff delivered to my Dads so he could take it up for tonights visiting. Made it by skin of teeth as Mum would have gone nuts if anyone visiting turns up late as amount of time is so limited and staff just can't do what she needs.... although i'm not blaming them personally. Oh, I seem to have waffled on a bit now!

Anyway, i've just been chilling in bed, watched some telly, and now picked up laptop again for a catchup.

Did you see my shop from earlier with the Dove items..... I think i'll have to do it again tomorrow as I got 2 things for raffle prizes, but noticed today how dry Mums legs were.
    v Sains plus shampoo
    Dove Rich Moisturising Crème (tin) (150ml) £4.00 - £1.88
    Dove Essential Nourishment Body Lotion - Dry Skin(250ml) £4.00 – £1.99
    And don't forget my favorite....
ASDA Strong & Absorbent Extra Long Kitchen Towels - 100 Sheets per Roll (2) £2.20 This is v £1 in S just now too! :D

    Keep strong EMMAP. :A

She was p!ssed as a newt

Yes she was. And I think the red eyes were a combination of that and some reaction to the Nurofen.
Was chatting to OH when we went for coffee the other night ( he comes in most evening and we go into town for coffee - or water in my case as I am still dieting). He said when he was at his worst he used to hide a bottle of vodka in a length of hose pipe with a cork in each end and keep it in the shed. I was a classic co dependant wife who thought i could control things by knowing what he was drinking and buying beers for him.
He was worried about being at DS's wedding with all the drink around but stayed all day and really enjoyed himself. It was one of the best day's of our small families lives and I was so proud.
So good luck to all of you having a break from drink.
