Be careful!!
Remember those guys on the news last year who took a bad reaction and nearly died - their heads were swollen to twice their normal size!!
I hadn't heard of anything awful like that happening prior to that though.
I sat down and worked out that with the current agreement I have with my bank, it will take my 22 years to pay back the overdraft I ran up while I was at uni >.< But for a few days of giving blood and taking some medication I can pay it back in a month or two :j**********************************************************************

That's one hell of an overdraftBut for a few days of giving blood and taking some medication I can pay it back in a month or two
That must be a fantastic payment you must be getting to be able to clear a debt in a few months that would normally take 22 years!0 -

It's a special 6 month agreement the bank have allowed me while I'm unemployed and looking for work. £6 a month for 6 months. I owe about £1600 and it would take me 22 years if they allowed me to continue at that rate. Though I am fairly optimistic that someone will finally give me a job before then. Well, I really hope soThe clinical trial pays just over £3000 which would cover that, my current overdraft and my credit card and leave me a couple of hundred for a rainy day.:j Knowing my luck, I'll turn out not healthy enough to take part >.<

I have to just point out (sorry to thread hijack!) that it sounds like you're only considering the medical trial because of your debt, thank goodness in this country they don't pay people beyond expenses to donate kidneys, eggs etc simply because I think there's quite a few of us on here that would be tempted!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

that it sounds like you're only considering the medical trial
what other reason would you voluntarily pump untested drugs into your system for?
Further, i used to give a pint of blood a week when working in Germany as they used to me about £20 (and that was back in 1990). Think i'd draw the line in organ selling though!!!0
