I am having to move into temp accommodation and have cancelled my virgin internet and viewing contract about 2 weeks ago. No problem at all except they said I had to send modem and box back and they would send me jiffy bag. I moved yesterday into storage and no jiffy bag arrived however I am told today that the bag has come but my problem now is that the box and modem are somewhere in my storage unit an I have no way of getting it for at least a month. will virgin really charge me £150 if I don't give it back or should I tell them it will be a while until i can access it? i haven't a problem giving them back it just getting it. i meant to leave them out but in the mad panic they got packed away

Sounds like you'll be charged if they did ask for it back - I'd phone them but remember it's not their fault - you admitted you forgot to leave them out.
If they do issue a charge it's not unreasonable, as they have to cover the cost of the equipment in the time you're signed up with them. If you cancel, they need that cost paying or the kit returning.0
