Disabled parking at multi storey car parks
Comments

The problem I'm having is I wanted to join a gym in Liverpool One and the car park which is best access to it is £5 for a 2 hour stay and if i go 3 ties a week this is £60 a month and the gym membership is only £15.99 so this isn't logical to me. As I have my blue badge I'm wondering if trees anywhere I could park and do a short walk for free
if it makes you feel better an able bodied person would also have to pay £60 a month to park for the same time as you.0 -
You ALWAYS have to check whether or not blue badge holders get free car parking in a given car park. Mum (the badge holder) usually grumbles if I tell her we've got to pay, and lists all the car parks where she wouldn't have to pay, but I point out that the badge permits her to use certain spaces, and does NOT always give free parking!
Is it worth asking the gym if they have any disabled parking, or know of any?
Some people also ALWAYS need to ensure that the BB holder is in the car before they expect disabled persons parking consessions.0 -
