I placed an order on Tesco grocery website. A while after placing it I was on Tesco Direct browsing and noticed the exact same item £10 cheaper than what Tesco groceries are selling it for(not discounted)actual price: My item has now been delivered, can I;
Take it back to Tesco and ask for the same price as Tesco Direct
Or
Ask for double the difference ???(not sure)
Or
Take it back, get a refund then purchase from Tesco Direct. Complete hassle. Are Tesco and Tesco Direct not one in the same ?
Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks

This shouldn't have been posted on the grabbit board, the shopping board would have been more appropriate.
Tesco groceries and Tesco direct are two separate operations, and in any case double the difference is an instore only guarantee. Re-order the cheaper item and return the more expensive item. You can return orders instore for an immediate refund.Comping wishlist for 2017

Will I get full price refunded or only partial ? As I had a money off a £60 spend as I was a first time customer. I bought other items IE: Food shopping. Thanks0

Take it back to the store and you will get a full refund for what you actually paid for the product. They won't look at the discount bit on your receipt.0 -
If this was me I would call Tesco groceries and query it with them, I have usually found them very helpful and would be very surprised if they don't refund you the difference. Especially if you say you are considering not using them again due to the pricing discrepancy!0

Tesco called me....apologising, stating the store cancelled the order due to possible fraudulent activity !!! I was raging about this, and Tesco HQ explained because games were ordered and it was my 1st order it could possibly have been a child using parents C/C etc....I let rip at them. Cut a long story short, I will receive my original order on Tues at the price quoted on the day I ordered ( games have now gone up £10 in price ) and with first time customer discount applied AND as an apology and gesture of goodwill...I received £45 worth of evouchers by email and there is no min spend on them !!! wonder what I can buy :T:T:T0

Why would you let rip at them for looking after your welfare?One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Cos the customer is always right, innit?0 -
Let rip at them....As not a call, text or email to let me know order cancelled and sat in waiting on a delivery that was never going to be delivered and order still showed as completed and due for delivery on their website. I am sure you wouldn't be best pleased either.0
