Batch of twinks made. Check.
Pizza dough in BM. Check.
Chocolate pud cooking in the remora. Check.

Time for me to wash up, call it a day (apart from prepping pizzas) and open a beer. Or two

Dying for a cup of wine, notice I say cup not glass! Dd1 has to be collected yet so it is now torturing me!

Remembered I had forgotten to pick up curtains, dashed into town and found she closed half day on Saturday. I told girls on pain of death jobs that needed doing before I got back so look on faces when I appeared within ten mins was classic!

Evening all
Arrived in France, staying 5mins from the Tunnel. Good job too.

Arrived at DS's at 10 am after a 5.30 alarm!! Everything going Ok until we tried to attach the tap to the sink unit, the tap body a Franke, was not true circular, so would not fit to the circular fixing plate, and then the job came to a halt. By this time it was 12 noon and most plumbers had closed for the weekend, he had ordered that and the sink top on line, and they said they could get a replacement to him by Tuesday, not much use to us, as by then we will be in Spain! DH did managed to sort out the pipe work ready for the connection, but could not do the waste as could not find out where it needed to be until fitted and the plumber had left it nowhere near. Hopefully DS's Fianc!e's Dad can help on Tuesday when he goes with a gas fitter to attach the hob and move an electric socket (he's an electrician).
DH then showed them how to use the electric tile cutter a friend of ours had lent them, and proceeded to cut the ones needed so they have one side tiled, to be grouted tomorrow. :T
By this time it was time for us to leave, so I told them to pack in, and gave them some money to go and get something to eat and/or drink, but they so want to have a working kitchen again. Tomorrow will see more tiling I am sure, but nothing is straight forward, but will look lovely eventually.
