Good morning
Not made any firm plans this weekend which I kinda prefer. Feels like less pressure.
Weather seems a bit hit and miss, v cloudy but it's dry. Could hear the racing cars at the circuit near to us which made my morning when walking the dog over the fields. Sad I know but hey it's the little things
WM is on, BM to go on. I am off to town to get my mums birthday pressie as I have to post that off prompt on Monday.
Might go out for a tootle bit later as I still haven't been very far yet.
Tea will be HM pizza.
Hugs and spoons all round, especially lots of you doing the uni run today xxx
Julie take it easy xx

Morning all,
I'm in for a lovely weekend I can see it as i'm not talking to hubby. He hates it when I sulk on him but its the only option open to me i'm afraid as having a row usually ends up with me in tears.
Hoping to do the shopping today at some point as I don't like shopping on Sundays and he's at work all week next week.
No other news from me I am afraid.... just a list of moans a mile long.

Morning all
Hugs to Molly, Hilly, Beemused et al, TTFM, sorry work iss so sh1tty, LW are you back yet?
I babysat last night but not late I was home & in bed by 10:32, DD went to a foster carers award evening, she got an award and a ferrero rocher tree. It's the first time I've seen her new house, it's looking good, I had a lovely evening stretched on the sofa with one dog curled round my feet and the other one curled up against my poor sore tum.
There was a bit of a panic, DS picked me up and his car packed in as he arrived, he drove mine instead (thank heavens for Trader insurance) He drove my car home to his house, came back here at 7:30 this morning to drive hubby to work, then I followed him whilst he took his car to be repaired and drove him back home again.
I need to get a key cut later and that's all I'm doing this morning. I did too much yesterday, tidied my food larder, got 2 loads of washing on the line and went to the chemist. I need to collect hubby about 2ish and we may go to the garden center to get winter pansies for the hanging baskets.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Morning All
Good Luck to all those with DDs and DSs going off to Uni, I remember it well!
HH - slow down!
Bitsy - Enjoy exploring.
Hugs to those not feeling up to scratch.
Already been to MrA and the charity shop - they don't take videos any more so will try to give them away on freegle or else they will go to the tip. Shame, some are the original disney ones.
Have advertised loads of stuff on Gumtr££, found a model maker's lathe in the shed and I have had loads of enquiries but why do folk assume you will parcel something up and send it? It weighs about 3 stone! One chap has got really shirty as I wont entertain a courier - I have better things to do than wait for them. Anyway, someone coming later.
Going to empty the eve spaces today to see what carp is in there, then the loft to do - only got about 6 weeks till we hopefully move so having a bit of a panic about the amount of stuff in here!
Have a lovely weekend. Take care. XX0 -

Wet here, so I'm glad I did two loads of washing yesterday. I've got to strip the bed today and sort through DH's wardrobe with him. One of my retirement investments was non-slip hangers throughout and it's his turn today
He'll like that I'm sure...!
Ive just bought myself a load of non slip hangers for the new wardrobes. Just need OH to build them first :rotfl: mind you they do look really decorative on the dining room table
Morning all,
Dry here so one lot of washing on the line another in the wm and another to follow, should all dry well today.
DD spent the night out she went with friends to see someone DJ at 11.30  they did not leave the friends house till 10.30, I now officially know I'm getting old, there is no way I would leave the house at 10.30 for a night out ! :rotfl:
Going to get the final (4th) coat on the walls today, and hopefully another on the doors while OH does something marvelous to level the floor prior to us laying it, I honestly cant wait for some flooring and wardrobesI am sick of living out of bags !
Not sure about dinner yet, might be tacos although I bought dd some veggie scampi to try, which looks delish so might try that.
Good luck to those taking children to Uni today, hope all goes well.
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning chums Just about to get started on the Mount Ironmore that sitting in the kitchen. Then some sewing which I hate, but its turning up some trousers and taking them in a bit Now I have lost some weight I find my stuff not fitting so well so I am adapting them and once I lose some more they will be charity shop bound and I'll buy some new ones.My DD has done so well that her last years winter coat that I treated her to for best now just hangs on her .She's only worn it once as well and it cost a fair bit GRRR still I'd rather she lost the weight bless her. Both of the Dds are sticking with me as a team and we are all losing weight together
New clothes needed all round by the time of the Christmas sales I think.
Right time to get stuck into the ironing,Have a good day everyone and the sun looks like it maybe coming out at last
Cheers JackieO xxx0 -
Bargainbird - I am only moving 4 miles from here but going from a 6 bed to a 3! Man just been to collect the last of the tools - that's a big relief, at least the shed is cleared now - only taken me a year!!!
Horrible and damp here so washing has gone on the airers. Fire lit to help it dry.
Take care. XX0 -
Hi All,
I'm feeling pretty rough today. High pain day and a rotten cold. But; We have lots of homebrew that's ready to bottle, some easy microwave fudge to make and an internet shop turning up later.
Right now though DD14 has gone into town to volunteer at the local charity shop as part of her DofE. DD11 is doing homework and Hubby is watching more Aussie Rules. I'm just going to chill on the sofa under my blanket and knit some more on my jumper.
Hugs to those who want them.+++ Divide By Cucumber Error. Please Reinstall Universe And Reboot +++
