No such thing as a current account without credit check, I am afraid.
Why do you fear a credit check?0 -

Barclays do a basic account, which is available to anyone. As you don't get an overdraught or cheque book, you can still have one with a poor credit history, if that is the reason you don't want a check.Debt Free Dec 2009non-smoker 19th Nov 2010Trying to lose weight 40lb/42lb

You will find some banks do not actually credit check you for a basic bank account.
However they will do an indentity and know your customer checks via the CRAs.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

You could look for a credit union in your area? The bigger ones do a current account but most operate savings via payroll deduction or via a paypoint type card. You need to provide evidence of ID and address but I don't think they credit check you to open a savings account.0
