My Tesco were the same with the Levi Roots coupon recently, they would only take off the exact amount and checked it all word for word. My Asda wouldn't accept a coupon I'd printed out because the paper looked too thin, said it was a fake. Sometimes its embarrassing using one but I still do it!

If they are from the recent FB comp they are for a free Panebello pizza up to £2.99 in value (this thread mostly relates to an older promotion) in Tesco it would be free (£2.50) but in Sainsburys (£3) would cost you a 1p. It's pot luck if you get any difference off the rest of your shopping they should only deduct the cost of the pizza or £2.99 whichever is the lower.

Honestly, when she scanned the coupon it took £2.79 but as the pizza was only £2.00, she had to cancel it and manually override it. She write £2.00 on the coupon. It looked like the remaining of £0.79 p would come off her own money and she still had to call her supervisor to prove that she is right! I was so embarrassing!

This thread is referring to a competition last year where winners won £10 worth of money off coupons, to be redeemed at various points through the year.
The one in this post was for a half prize panebello, a few months back, and the last token which is for march, is for a free ristorante pizza. Totally different thread and comp from the current giveaway of Panebellos!!
