Searching for a user

I'm trying to search for a user but when I use the Advanced Search - User Name - Find Threads Started By User I get a long stretched out page (horizontally) with users names on the green bar. It's really difficult to scroll across. I don't really want to know which threads they've started I just want to be able to find their profile page. Is there any way of doing this?
