Worried about buyer coming for second viewing

Evening all,
I just want to let off steam, I'm currently selling my house and am part way through the process.
I have a buyer, the conveyancing is progressing and their survey was carried out on my house on Monday (apparently they haven't had results yet but I don't think there is anything major to worry about as the house is in good condition and I've kept up with the maintenance and decorating etc).
I've agreed to a second viewing over this coming weekend and am now filled with worry. I'm sure they are coming just to measure up for furniture and curtains etc but I can't help but worry that they are having second thoughts and will pull out! There is nothing wrong with the house or any skeletons in the closet and I have been honest about anything they have asked. I love the house but am up-sizing to meet future needs.
They really don't lie when they say moving house is stressful!
Have any of you had a buyer get cold feet from a second viewing after having the survey done (providing nothing major is found) and instructing solicitor etc? we are hoping to exchange soon.
Obviously the house will be welcoming and clean when they view.
Ahhhh!
Ok I'll shut up now.
Thanks

I would have thought that second and subsequent viewings are quite the norm. Most people buying a new house are quite excited about it, will want to be making plans, sorting out curtains etc. I'm more surprised that you haven't had them back before now.

It is the norm. If they are having second thoughts they could pull out anyway whether they see house or not.I had same dilemma. I put the buyers off several times but then it started to look like I was hiding something.....which I was, so I let then reluctantly come round and fortunately all was fine0

quite normal. in fact, serious buyers will undertake 3, 4 or 5 viewings over the course of the transaction."enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0

Think I would be more worried if everything went quiet and they didnt want to view again0

I'm a buyer and I viewed 4 times, plus I snuck in while the surveys were being done... shhhh

Don't worry, relax and you'll be fine

Many people take 2nd or even 3rd viewings. Hopefully yours is the only one they're 2nd viewing, but they could have a whole list of second viewings to do.
Even if they don't buy, at least you made their shortlist which is great and another step closer to sold

My buyers must have had 7 viewings... and you have to suck it up for fear of them pulling out.... also had to put up with their ugly and annoying brat being on the loose when they came too.0

A second viewing is completely normal and I too think it would be more of a concern if they didn't want to come around again. If they had any doubts they would have had a second viewing/pulled out before paying out for the survey.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

This made me laugh FAR more than I care to admit :rotfl: WHY do people never take control of their vile screaming brats?!
*disclaimer* Not ALL children are awful.. Some are lovely.
I tend to find the most awful behaved noisy little kids are boys though. Was this brat a boy?
*Another disclaimer* Not ALL boys are noisy badly behaved brats, but if there 'is' a disruptive little brat around, it usually tends to be a boy. In my experience anyway.
Back to the OP: At least the people seem interested
