I am not sure who's winning all the prizes but it's defo not me. I had a bit of a poor year last year, then so far this year have won a £25 voucher and a mascara in 3 months. I think it's the same old reason that we've all been trotting out to the new compers who complain they haven't won: there are just so many people at it these days. Particularly thanks to social media, people who previously would never go actively looking for competitions, now have them appear in front of them in their news feeds and it's a second's work for them to click like or retweet or whatever. Where a standard web competition 5 years ago may have got 1,000 entries, it'll now run on Facebook where it'll get 20,000 instead. So the chances of winning are diluted to the point of being almost negligible!

i'm having my worst month ever, I feel its almost impossible to win on twitter & have got it in my head that most promoters look for none comping accounts. I was winning a rafflecopter prize at least once a week but now none... maybe its just a bad patch, no idea! you'd have thought less people would be entering the baby competitions.

are you doing RC/gleam ones for baby stuff? i won loads that way during my first pregnancy and still win quite a bit of childrens stuff through them. x

I'm having a really bad year. I've been comping for 9 years and this is the worst yet. I got made redundant in December so I'm entering more than ever but winning hardly anything. I'm also having all the paranoid thoughts such as I'm entering so many the promoters are noticing and thinking I'm greedy :rotfl: Please comping fairy come back to me!

I don't know what you mean by all the newbies are winning. How would you know who is new to comping and who isn't? Thousands enter various comps from all over the net not just this forum so you can't possibly know how long people you don't know have been comping for. What difference does that make anyway? That aside its always swings and roundabouts. you can enter hundreds a day and win nothing for months. You can enter hundreds a day and win every other day some months and then have a long dry period. Some win month in month out. It's all fair game and you just have to keep on trying if its something you still enjoy. There is no formula to it. It's just luck. This month I've won a prize every 3 days averaging it out. Last month i won nothing at all. The month before that around 10 prizes. There's no pattern to it. All you can do is give luck a bigger nudge by entering as many as you can Gl x
