lol, thanks for that Blulu, if only it were that simple, but these are capsules I have to mix in with his food, so guess what, yep, now he won't eat his food, would have been so much easier to give him a pill, he's pretty good with that...lol

oh cool, did you get the tickets for tomorrow?

I had to turn them down - couldn't go tomorrow (the comp was for several different performances), asked if I could give them to my parents - they said yes and then they got back to me and said it was for the matinee and not the evening performance - so had to ask for a redraw.

Wonder if you got the redrawn ones - would be great if they'd gone to another mse'er

I've found that the prizes are really slow at the moment :sad: - I have been comping for just over a year now and don't think I have changed much in the number/type of competitions I have entered. I went through a six-month spell from Oct-April where I was winning a few prizes a month, including one bigger prize per month (between £200-£500 in value). Since then, I have won a couple of smaller prizes and that's about it. Yet when I look at the IWIWIW board, I see some who have won 2 or 3 really great prizes in about a week. I know it's just the luck of the draw, but wish some of that luck would come my way. Mind you, am looking forward to the advents coming again soon :j

Hmmm, been working night shift and just got up to find another email from Opera North sent last night saying they got the time wrong and it was the 2:30pm performance. Trouble is it's now 4pm.
Ah well. Looks like they were your tickets redrawn.

I'm having such a bad month - I've won two minor prizes, that's it and that is really bad for me. I've also been comping my butt off!! However, last month was good and I won a few good prizes. A couple of months before that were pretty awful too. I'm definitely winning less than even six months back, but I'm thinking possibly this is just the way it goes sometimes with comping. You will have a run when you're very lucky and then sometime when you're not - it's bound to happen! The only way to win though - is to keep on comping!:T
