ian, can you answer what went wrong with the redspottedhanky codes, i tried 3 different browsers and the get code link, just did nothing, i kept getting a white box, i was not the only person with this problem, can you help?

Yes I had same problem at 1pm, entered email & postcode, nothing at all happened when I clicked 'get code' tried over & over again, refreshed, tried different browser, gave up in the end.

Still didn't work properly at 4pm, same ussue as before. Pretty much a complete waste of time

This is not the case some people have posted about receiving codes on the page.

I had the problem at 13:00 but not at 16:00

keep the faith try again and start clicking before the due time.

Should have made it so only those registered with MSE could apply, and obviously not have made this fact public.

I was on at 9.58am and refreshed the page repeatedly. At just after 10am, the screen changed to the e-mail address, but in the time it took me to paste my e-mail address in (to save time rather than typing it), all the codes had gone - it wasn't even 10.01am!

I'll try again at 8pm but i'm not hopeful. How on earth people get these codes is beyond me.

Why can't those who managed to get their e-mail address/postcode in place, but failed to get a code, be "remembered" and go to the front of the queue for the next batch release? Very frustrating having to go through the same rat-race 4 times - I fear a wasted day for myself and many others. If code e-mails take 2 days to arrive how can anyone be sure they've been successful? This fiasco won't help enhance MSE's reputation.

Waste of time, tried all 4 occasions for these codes. On the first opportunity I got to enter my details said all codes had gone. No idea how anyone could get a code that quick.

I tried all 4 times as well. This last time I didn't even get the box to put the email addy in until all the codes were gone. How did that happen? Sitting waiting looking at the bit that said box will appear here at 8pm. It didn't.
