Good for you for persevering with this - many people would have written it off and put it down to bad luck. I guess you know there are compaints sites like blagger.com where you can post your bad consumer experiences. The bad publicity serves them right, though at least they paid up in the end. Well done.0

I phoned up and was told they couldn't supply the 2003 part(patent)need to go to Vauxhall.I said that I will return this with reasonable secured postage of £5.99.Please can you add this to my original costs I paid.No problem I was advised.
I phoned, after they had received this for over 28hours,to be advised that they will not be returning the postage(company policy),yet the website does say diferent,to which I advised them......
Here's what it says on the website, before they take your money....
Wrong parts supplied
If the reason for return is the result of our error, we will refund the parts and carriage costs, providing they are returned within 7 days, they have not been fitted and are in original condition & packaging
I have reported it to the consumers helpline and know they are in breach of
contract...distant selling regulations.
Awaiting their comments from the MD via email, before I draft a recorded letter to them.
Intresting as consumers direct actually said I should also try to claim the additional cost difference at Vauxhall. Can't be right?
This company is bad. I know a few garages & private customers in my area who have used these 4 various parts and have been dissapointed with there products. I understand from doing my homework that this company has gone bust & is now using other names such as - Radiator Services, CV Panels in manchester, Car parts warehouse & 24/7 spares.... when are they going to stop making up names & realise they are not wanted in the car parts supplying industry.0 -
I have also been unfortunate to have had recent dealings with this firm. They are shabby and cowboy in every way.
AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH CAR PARTS WAREHOUSE!!
I am still awaiting dispatch of my parts. I am told that my business is with the courier and not the supplier. How can this be? They were so rude as well.0 -

Now you have me worried.
I have been trying to order a new foglight for my 04 Vectra via carpartswarehouse, which I found via breakeryard.com
I am in OZ by the way.
First they quoted local delivery plus VAT.
I then advised politely that I was in OZ and they might like to review the shipping cost and remove the VAT.
They did that, of course, with a much higher cost advised.
I then asked how I should pay. They advise a Pay Pal email address but added VAT to the price. I pointed out their error.
trying the Pay Pal link got me no where.
Still no order logged or invoice advised.
Meanwhile, I searched for their website and found the part I needed. Unfortunately, the site is limited to European countries. You cannot put Australian detail in the address area, nor does Pay Pal list on the site.
So I just cannot sign up and order on the website.
To complicate things further, it is a LH foglight I need. The one shown in a picture on the site is labelled a RH even though it is obviously an LH.
Now I see the experiences of others via this Forum, it makes me less than enthusiastic to persue the part.
If anyone knows where I can get a LH foglight for an 04 ZC Vectra CDX, built in Belgium for Holden Australia, I would welcome the link.
Holden want A$268 for one, that is BP155. You can see why I am looking elsewhere.
