What just happened? Slow/load problems

Site has just suddenly slowed down for me and I keep getting the Chrome 'cannot load' screen. Refresh/reload does nothing.

I can get one page out of maybe 3 or 4 to load.

Also the formatting on the forum index page is erratic. The content loads but the formatting doesn't every time.

Anyone else?

Been a few issues over the last few days tbh. Is there tinkering going on?

Where are the earlier posts about the Red Spotted Hanky offer?? Have they been removed?
Not only does it slow the site down but it doesn't work anyway, very unimpressed!
Tried twice now at 1pm & 4pm, enter details, clock 'get code' and absilutely nothing happens.
