    I don't know; give some people a little authority and you get anther hitler wannabee.
    NO you are NOT being unreasonable. What does it matter if the meter is read on a particular day of their initial choosing or 6 months later?
    If they suspect a meter has been tampered with then get a warrant and police backup!
    That's my opinion.
    That said I've always had very polite meter reader/checker people.

    Police are only required if breach of the peace, also all these extra costs puts everyones bills up.
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Result at last, got a saturday appointment for november whoopee

    Update: No they didn't:mad::mad::mad:

    A valuable saturday wasted. We couldn't get through to customer services over an hour on hold. Also got a letter last week saying once again they cannot provide a bill.

    Npower are worthless wastes of oxygen.

    We have switched.

    One of NPowers readers refused to come in to read the electricity meter as we had large dogs in the house. I had to shout the readings out the door to him. Can nobody lend you a bulldog or a mastif OP? Luckily our gas meter is in one of those box things in the front garden.

  • One of my neighbours has a Rottie but he's soft as a brush.

    I sincerely hope they don't ring me up to find out why I've switched, whoever unfortuanate is on the other end is gonna need years of councelling.

    Our two greyhounds and the mate's Johnson's bulldog are big softies too, but the reader was unconvinced by our protestations.

  • Why don't you, or your wife, read your own meter, and give the caller the readings?
