PayPal- removing payment option on eBay listing?

I had a prospective buyer last week who did not have a Paypal account.
The item in question was was offered on a cash on collection basis.
The buyer said he had purchased many items from ebay and why was I stopping him from bidding because of my Paypal listing preferences.
I have just found out that the Paypal requirement can be unticked in preferences so I owe my prospective buyer an apology!0 -

That is a different matter to that being discussed. It is possible, as you did, to block buyers who do not have a PayPal account.
