mini rant, re Teco £10 meal deal- hardly any white wine

My thinking is that they seem to have PLENTY of red wine, but no (room for) white- despite normal priced alcohol elsewhere in store.. (starting to sound like an alkie, here!)

also, if I was only going for soft drink options. would think i was being short changed - 6pack cola marked up at about £4.50 if bought separately, the wine was £6-8..

Its not a regular purchase, only a treat no and then- but every penny still bleedin counts!!

I assume you are also making sure you get the most expensive main side and dessert. It's not what you would prefer to have, it's what works out as the most money saved......

That's just pure speculation without a shred of evidence. Most people in retail what let you phone whoever you want & not bat an eyelid and carry on serving. That's exactly what I'd have done!
