Reading some of these Debt Diaries i feel slightly silly as my debt is small in comparison to other peoples!
Am i daft for being worried about it? Or am i right to try and get it sorted now to stop a future problem occuring??LBM 17/09/2013 [STRIKE]£4283.40[/STRIKE] November 2015 total [STRIKE]£4339.45[/STRIKE]

No I don't think you are daft at all. Our debt isn't that big but it's enough for us to feel down about it. It's not a competition and like weight loss in a way you may only have a few pounds to lose in order to feel better about yourself.
I think its a good idea to get it sorted now in order for you to be in a better position for the future.
I will be subscribing to your thread.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Paid a little extra off my Credit card £23.42..thats from some expenses i claimed back and some money from quidco!. the only issue with that is i never have a clue what thay will do to interest...
I also had to put my exam fees on it the other day. I will get those back from work but not until next month, so i doubt my little extras will make any difference at the minute...I've not added those to my total debt as im getting that back and will pay that off instantly when i get itLBM 17/09/2013 [STRIKE]£4283.40[/STRIKE] November 2015 total [STRIKE]£4339.45[/STRIKE]

You're definitely right to get it under control now!I was in the same position and let it grow to over £8k!
I would agree with the others, £200 is a little high for one person. When I lived alone, I was spending £30 max a week inc pet food. Also, your Sky bill is quite high. Any chance this could be brought down? Just in the short term.CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14
