Look after the pennies as they say! It all helps
You've not got much left now then before 'mum and dad debts' are paid off...well done!

Let 'em laugh - I'm pretty certain they are not the type of people to be making the most of the money they have! I was thinking about this earlier today: My best friend's husband earns a huge wage and she works also. But. I have long suspected that their finances are in a pickle. I have a feeling there is a lot of debt and problems. Whereas my household income is considerably lower but I fully believe we make more of what we do have. What would I prefer? Well, having been married to a man previously with a huge salary and mountains of debt, I'll take the enlightened albeit tighter path I'm walking now. There's no shame in knowing the value of pennies and actively getting those pennies to work in your favour!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -
