postage costs

I'm not a fan of Recorded, but have used it recently to benefit from the £50 compo limit as POP only covers you for £20 now.
OP - glad you decided you weren't happy with the postage before buying - otherwise this could be another 20-pager about how you knew the postage was £4 and became unhappy once you received the item and saw that it only cost £1.70 to post...........0 -
With the new postage FVFs I am surprised people still do this. Risk low stars and save absolutely nothing at all on fees- it no longer makes sense.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I suspect that most sellers are not switched on enough to know this change has come in to force.
I'd imagine it's a mix of not realising about the fees and not realising how damaging low stars can be. However, some sellers will just be willing to take the risk in an attempt to make more money and it's quite possible some of them think they can simply open another account if they are stopped from selling on the first.0 -

You say that, but i still find in some categories - someone will buy an item for £10 and p&p £4.99 - but won't but them at £14.99 with free p&p.
I keep ending up making the item look cheaper, by removing the free postage when i come to relist.
