Puzz.....I never in a trillion years would have thought you would have ever had a single flea and I think you believe me ;) .

Thank you so much for your kind words :). Being one of very few men on here, one sometimes wonders if some might think 'there's a Tom Cat on my thread - shoo him away.' That doesn't seem to have happened too much happily :)

The Tom Cat's getting a bit hungry now......wonder if there's something nice in the dustbin :p !!

    Hi Brogs..

Not checking your spelling, believe me.. mine is dreadful.. and I still can't work out why we have to have 2 words that mean the same thing but spelt different.. there/their.. etc..?

As for fleas.. well... Puzz's Puzzy's.. have partaken in the carrying of small hoppy creatures in the past but no more...It doesn't help that I have a foster Puzz that belongs next door but lives here most of the day... He lives out at night so is a devil for catching the hoppy things....

Hope your day is full of mad ramblings like mine.. I shall pop over and visit you soon.. claws in I promise Mr Tom....

Friday for me.. :j..although I do have a job to do on saturday so not quite a free weekend..

Yesterday.. well I didn't get back home until 7 so needed to cook dinner and speak to lovely mother so treadmill didn't get a look in again...! Will do better next week...!

    On the positives..

I received a default notice from BC.. anyone who is in default with BC will know they don't default you and just mark your file with AP. Now defaults fall off your file 6 years after being placed whilst AP markers fall off 6 years after the debt has been settled... No idea why they have decided to do this now and I obviously am hoping that the big D does show up on my credit file in the near future as this would still tie in with my dmp being finished... I feel like the chosen one..:rotfl:

Second positive ish... dd handed in her notice and that all went fine, not sure when her last shift is yet.. She also got a bonus...equal to over 2 weeks work for her.. jammy is what I call it...! At least I know where to go for a loan...:D

Parents evening tonight.. will be glad when this week is over.....

Off tomorrow, using up last day of 14/15 leave.. opticians for me, otherwise just food shop, washing etc.etc. etc....

A hop and a skip to payday now... still got a few pennies in the bank but not many...!

    Hello...

So yesterday I was off and had a morning appointment at the opticians.. gosh it took ages.. Was a little worried to find I hadn't had a eye test in 5 years...! No wonder i'm as blind as a bat...!! And I knew I would need a change of perscription as I can't read very well with my glasses on now.. Age is a wonderful thing...! So I need varifocals.. total cost approx £200.... well I won't be getting them this week, that's for sure...! Will have to think on that one... dd's eyes are being checked monday, but at least the majority of her's is free as she's still in education...

Talking of education... parents evening.. wasn't as bad as expected, apart from the uppity cow who runs the sixth form.. why do they have to be so condesending.. is it in the job description.. anyway she's lucky I didn't deck her one...!! Typically it didn't run to time and wasn't home until 7.30... (should have been 6.30.... OH was like 'pick up fish & chips' I'll pay you back.. haha.. I didn't take my bag with me, so that was no go..and I just cooked when I got in..

So other than opticians yesterday, I did lots of housework, hence why I am playing on here today... should really go out and do a visit, but do you know what.. I can't be bothered...! Need to go to a supermarket for a few bits, will probably go on route to collect dd.. Hoping her resignation has been processed properly and we only have 1 more saturday to do.. she's definately been more cheerful since handing it in, despite parents evening..!

I also played out in my garden, and line dried my bedding.. I potted up the rest of last years runner bean seeds, decided I would just do those and some tomatoes this year.. sorted the big pots outside ready for when they grow and I move them.. no sign of them yet...:rotfl:

No other plans, OH is away until late tomorrow night so another girls night with dd on the cards..

So close to payday I can touch it..

I've had varifocals for the last year too :) !!

They're no trouble at all. Its not the sort of expense we need really though is it? Having said that it is a satisfying purchase - all the clarity and confidence the glasses can give us.........and there's nothing more attractive than lovely ladies in nice glasses ;)

Good Morning.... So today its Thursday for me as I only have one more working day.. :j With it being the school holidays I do find it very hard to peel myself out of bed and get going... well not as hard as dd as she's still snoozing....

Payday came and went.... got a little extra overtime so that paid off the bigger than usual mobile phone bill from when I was abroad earlier in the month.. I really need to start putting the amount that is now left into pots as I find it just disappears otherwise.. I don't have a 'pot' for entertainment or clothing as I just use OH's weekly cash for anything we need but might consider starting one.. I also want to up dd's pocket money a little, up my pot of gold savings as I am now a year into it so will increase to £20 a month from next month... Plus the emergency fund could so with being made bigger as it won't pay for much of an emergency.. :rotfl:

Rough nights the last 2 nights with OH and his snoring.. but bless him he woke about 5am with a temperature and cold.. man flu.. bless but he has dragged himself to work and told me he's going straight to bed when he gets home... wonder if he has remembered footie is on the tv.. :D

I have another £10 of 50p's to pay in towards our summer 2015 holiday.. just another £170 to go... although OH has said he will pay.. aah bless him.... I shall keep saving anyway...!

Also have been saving to pay lovely mother back for the deposit on cambodia that dd was going on... now... lovely mother hasn't mentioned it.......dilemma.. do I just give it to her, it was her £350 after all? keep quiet? offer it and hope she says no....??? any thoughts...!

Will need to save to buy my new glasses but as I have been blind for a while there's no real rush..! some people look better a bit blurry...!

One poll up to £10.30 now, Ipsos 50 points away from next voucher.. also doing 2 different surveys for RM - £5 each and I'm back on the posting panel from next week so lots of free stamps I can then sell on ebay...

    That's about it for now...

    Good Morning...

Well lovely OH shared his man flu/cold with me so I have now had 2 rough nights of my own.. feeling a little tired in the Puzz household.. luckily I had a day off Thursday and now its the easter weekend so don't need to worry about work..not sure how much housework is going to get done today mind.....

So the last few days.. dd's work finally acknowledged she is leaving but still haven't confirmed when as it was 2 weeks notice and we gave 2 weeks as in 4 shifts.. so could be today or could be wednesday.. If they don't say anything today we are going with this is her last day.... They also gave notice to all the other temporary staff on wednesday so looks likely she would have been off anyway..!

Wednesday night I went out with lovely mother for a little chinese.. meal that is, not person.. she paid.. :T
Thursday I met my best friend for a coffee and catch up.. she paid.. :T
And yesterday I met up with another friend for lunch and yep.. she paid.. :T

They must all know how poor I am.... maybe my scruffy clothes and tatty hair is a clue...!

Paid Mum loan so now down to £4000.. was originally £10000....! used to yep consolidate, well that didn't work did it.. but only 20 months to go and I'll be £200 a month better off.... sooner if I can.. She still hasn't mentioned paying her back for dd's deposit so I think I will sit tight on that one for now....

One poll up to £12.30.. Ordered another gift voucher from Ipsos for the Christmas pot...Received my stamps for starting back on the RM panal, so will save them and sell in a big clump like I did last year..I also took full advantage of Sainsbugs recent vouchers to increase my nectar balance and have got it to £27 in a month.... I have 3 money off delivery vouchers to use and then will revert back to Asbo's...

No big easter plans.. only catering for dd and I so no big turkey or lamb roasts here.. although I do have a turkey in the freezer but it can reside there for awhile longer.. still working through the freezer, have picked up a few ys items lately as I'm running low on meals I can plate for OH to reheat twice a week..

So that's about it from a snotty Puzz....xxx

    Good morning Puzz :)
Just had a quick catch up,
Thank you for popping in with my Easter bunny smiley - it made me smile:)
Hope you have had a good Easter weekend. Today is much brighter - the last few days have been pretty cold and dull here.

Varifocals - me too! have had them for 3 years but I got them too soon and eyes were still changing - so they were useless after 6 months :(. I haven't managed to replace them for obvious reasons but am hoping to do so in the next month or two.

Am going shopping today for you know ;) what at M&S (imagined being knocked over by a bus and the paramedics seeing underwear:eek: :D...a girl always has to be prepared;)) ...and will also have a browse on the sale rails with DD for some work clothes.

Enjoy your banks holiday Monday :)
    love n hugs
