    Hi Brogs,

yep girls only I'm afraid, we do like our nights out when we are free to talk about 'girlie stuff' without risk of offence..!! Haven't done couple nights out since pre children...! so that's about 16 years ago..!!!

And yep you guessed the correct pizza place... they do some good offers if you fancy it...! Current offer for weekends is 2 courses for £11.95... add on some vino and its about £20 a head in our world... Maybe you could treat Mrs B?

Success... I went on the treadmill.giflast night and then did 2 hours of revision with dd.. I am now an expert on Italian Unification 1820- 1871... Tonight she is doing English so I am excused so may get out and do my evening visit. Think I will leave the overtime so I can assist my little dd over the next few months...

We have booked our first open day to a University in June....and she is at a UCAS convention today so hopefully will come back all fired up and raring to go...

No money news.. still just plodding on...

Happy St Patricks day..... HSirish.gif to you all....

No couples nights here either. We each look after our own entertainments although having had funds recently I have just paid for Mrs. B's foreign holiday......she's going with DD2. There's so much flapping about having enough to pay for it and run the housekeeping budget in the months leading up to the holiday that it seemed to make sense :)

Whilst life can be very rocky at times, there's no point in being immature and hiding my walletto under the floorboards is there?

Have a great pizza with the girls and remember......... slagging off men is not allowed ;)!!

    Hi Brogs,

Do you get a holiday yourself? My OH loves swimming, mountain climbing, outdoor stuff so goes off on his man jollies.... whilst dd and I love the sun so we choose that option.. Hope Mrs B doesn't get all the R & R?

As for slagging off men, we are well over that.... we are mature ladies you know.....:D

    Hi Puzz :)

The last holiday I had was in 2010 to the Carribean. It just doesn't work going on holiday with the family - its a lot of money and one is supposed to enjoy it :rotfl:!! I did enjoy it up to a point but I am dedicating myself to sorting 'life' type things out - that's my hobby now - no mountaineering or white water rafting and all that stuff - I was never remotely interested in that sort of stuff anyway :p

I thought you were offering to let me jump into your suitcase :) !! I could be persuaded to do that ;) !!

Apologies but..... woke up this morning at 4am feeeling really miserable... Hate life, hate me, hate my teeth, my hair, my body, my clothes are old, my house is tired etc.etc.. you get the picture.. I did fall asleep again and then when I got up I wrote it all down. I know the only person who can change me, is me.. I just need a right kick up the backside to do it.... so get kicking folks....!!! ;)

Luckily I had today off anyway, unluckily dd woke up feeling grotty so left her in bed whilst I shot off to do the food shop at 8am... I wanted to be back for the eclipse.. well that was a let down... didn't see a thing.... Have since done washing, hoovered house and cleaned the bathroom and went out to do visit.. now its my time and I am going to catch up on some diaries etc on here...
Girls night tomorrow has been cancelled as from 6 to 4 has now become 3 so we shall reschedule.. suits me as I don't really want to spend the money..:D I must invest in some new clothes though as I noticed the top I am wearing today has a hole in it.. oops.. and I don't mean where you put your head.. :rotfl:Right off to play.... Had a very lazy start to the day and even had my breakfast in bed.. that's a first, unless i'm ill...!

So I have been into town on the hunt for some 'cheap' tops for work, only went in the charity shops but didn't find anything nice enough to part me from my cash...! I might go into the big town tomorrow and have a look at the cheapy shops...

Also been and held my neighbours hand whilst she had some house viewings.. we actually have 3 houses for sale in a run of 7 in my road at the moment.. Not my fault I promise....!! They have all split up with partners....

Asked OH if he wanted takeaway, as we haven't had one this year yet or fahita's.. should have kept my mouth shut as he chose the later which has then cost me about £10 ..he would have paid for takeaway.. silly puzz....

Nothing planned for the rest of the day.. I could get the ironing board out.... or not.... just dinner to cook and tv to watch.. oh and wine to drink... well I hope so, I popped into Lidl and bought a few bits including said wine... I will post back if its drinkable....!
