Bit late now but couldn't you just "quote" the original posts, copy them to the new thread then delete the quotes and any other bits not needed.I am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. I agree it's a waste of time adding the comps to the thread as links if they are just going to be re done another way anyway.
Plus I have sight problems & can not see the links in light type very well at all especially as they are all squished together I am strugglingThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -

indeed, i know chrome to be an outright pain for moving links from one post to another
what we need is someone running this thread who works with FF
if thats you Layla1979 then brilliant
it should be easier said than done and you dont need to 'quote' and then copy and paste
if you have tinks post #1 open in one tab and your new post #1 open in another tab in editing mode, you should be able to left click and hold the mouse button down and drag it across the screen to highlight everything in blue
then release the mouse button and move the pointer/cursor to anywhere over the the blue stuff, left click again and keep it pressed down, now move that pointer up to the top of your browser and over the tab that is your post #1 and that should bring it to the forefront, then still keeping the button pressed move it into the open for editing text area, release the mouse button and [fingers crossed] all should appear as an exact replica to tinks #1 post

You don't need to be in FF you can add links in all browsers it just takes longer
It's a good idea though fnc if it's quicker to use FF or IE to run the daily thread then go back to your normal browser for everything elseThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -

With IE use the mse quote function, copied the quote produced and paste it to the new thread, delete the "quote" bits = job done ready for any edits required (has to be quicker than holding/dragging etc).0
