First Utility billing system is pants

I have been with First Utility for nearly a year with no problems.

Recently their billing system is giving me incorrect bills (they are covering the wrong periods - some of them overlap).

They have also started nagging me for meter readings when they are not due.

How hard can it be for a utility company to produce an accurate bill every month? Seems like a basic requirement for a utility company.

They are doing my head in.

If they don't sort it out I am leaving them at the end of my current deal even if they are the cheapest.

Their web site says they are experiencing high volumes of calls at the moment - what a surprise if they can't produce bills properly.

Anyone else having problems or are they just picking on me?

  • I have had problems since July but my problem is they won't send me any bills at all. We have gas and electric with them but they are only asking for electric readings even though they are not billing us. I am dreading the bill when it comes :eek: we also will be leaving in December when our contract with them ends. have contacted them through the website but I just get palmed off with the technical team promise who are not doing anything :mad: tried to phone but gave up after waiting for 50 minutes :mad:
