What a great post IMNM - so much positivity and you are dead right. I think a lot of us certainly learn to appreciate the smaller things in life on this journey. If we didn't, we'd likely go nuts. :)

You definitely need to adjust your outlook to be successful in the long term on this journey and you have done a superb job of that! Well done! :T

Another month is almost over and hopefully everyone is better off now than they were 30 days ago - I know I am and it does help me to think about how far I have come and how much better things are getting all the time.

I have definitely learned this month that it helps to do something that makes a difference everyday and for me this is currently hunting for roadkill and wombled receipts. This makes a difference to my cash balance literally everyday which helps keep my motivation up.

Hope everyone else is feeling positive.....I am sure a few of you have a payday in the next couple of days! :D

Here we are preparing to say goodbye to November and hello December! I used to think December was a positive month but now that I am financially aware, I can see the bad points! I plan on combatting this with some smart Christmas shopping and using as many A$da vouchers as possible to buy our Christmas dinner!

Hope everyone is feeling psyched for the end of the year and looking back knowing we will never be in such a bad financial position again. The new year is coming and for some of us it will be the downward slope to becoming debt free in 2014. For others, it will be the start of another year which will take them closer to that goal. It doesn't matter: as long as you are going forwards. You have to keep pushing your life in the direction you want it to go. You are in control. It is up to you. And you can do it!!!

Lots of love and positive vibes to all of us on this journey.
