Hi all,
Just having my morning coffee before drying my hair and getting ready for work :-(
Had a nice day yesterday, after BF's mate left we went into town and I got some more clothes, so now im all set for winter in clothes that actually fit me... I got some Love 2 Shop vouchers from work a few weeks ago, and i finally spent them yesterday!
Also bought a Christmas jumper in Primark - all set for December now ha ha!
Tru - that blanket is stunning! I'm crocheting a ripple at the moment, but its not that far on, only about 1/4 done!
Put the electric blanket on the bed last night. We refuse to put our heating on yet, however this morning the bedroom windows were steamed up which means it must be cold outside!
Off to finish my coffee and get ready for work
Hope you all have a good day!the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -

I am the same if I go to the crem where my parents ashes are scattered, so know exactly what you mean. I go very rarely but one brother goes regularly. Everyone is different.0 -
Morning everyone
Hugs to all those that are feeling sad/poorly x
Bright, sunny but cold here this morning.
DH up and off to work stupid early.
Dinner tonight will be an easy fish, chips/jacket potato, beans/veg - have quite a few odds and ends in the fridge that need using up.
Had a lovely weekend away, friend offered me and lift to the nearby city where we were staying as she was taking her daughter on Saturday for some retail therapy - so I grabbed a lift. Menfolk all stayed and watched the racing and visited a hobby shop. Had a really lovely few hours wandering around the shops and did spend a bit of money but nothing major. When we got back then we cooked ur joint meal and managed to all get seated in our caravan to eat together, meal was lovely and enjoyed by us all. Not away in the caravan now for several weeks.
Back to work this morning - I'm thinking it's going to be a manic Monday so will wait and see. We still have several people of long term sick so still don't have enough staff.
Keep safe and well x

Morning all
Hubby fed and dropped at work, fish fed, both breakfasts eaten.
BB, it's so difficult cleaning when things are cluttered, I got my carp moved before I organised a cleaner.
TTFM, I hope today goes well.
PP, I hope you are coping.
Molly & Hilly, take care of yourselves.
I'ts sunny here ATM, not sure how long it will last.
I may try to do a bit of baking today, I have a visitor later and it would be nice to have some cake to offer.
Right, it's time I had my shower.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Morning all,
grey and breezy here today but at least it's not tipping down: it was easily November for most of yesterday.
Been out to pick up the garden chairs that got blown about and I've moved them into the corner where they stand a better chance against the wind. The table didn't blow over which is good as it is so old it might have broken. I think it will do another year as long as I paint it again (table is plastic but I used blue woodstain which hides all the dirty marks).
Left over lamb today for dinner, cunningly layered in the potato bake. I'm miffed I could only get 2 meals for 2 people out of the lamb leg, but the bones were huge and heavy so there wasn't much meat for the weight iyswim. I'm not making stew with the bones as I hate the smell: too many dreary memories.
For some odd reason I wish I was back in work today - is this normal or am I going potty?
Have the best day you can xI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Good Morning All
Feeling very nippy here this morning, having a slow start as did loads of hours at work yesterday and feeling rather tired. Have a very busy week as Manager is away, shall make the most though as probably very little hours next week.
OH cooked Gammon in the slow cooker yesterday and there is loads left over so gammon sandwiches for lunch and ham egg and chips tonight. Do need to pop out for some eggs at some point.
Going to write my todo list in a moment then treat myself to a bath. Plans today - office work, clear the ironing pile (very small pile yay) and maybe swap over my summer to winter wardrobe. Oh and also must must must menu plan for the rest of the week.
Have a great Monday all.x0 -
Good Morning x
Hugs to Camelot, Jools and Floss xx
Hilly - thinking of you x
Time to Face the Music - remember this time too will pass x
Hester - Hope you are progressing well x
I am really hoping for a quieter week but it is looking unlikely. My youngest son is really struggling atm and we just had to turn back from the drive to college as he had a huge panic attack:(
My dad is going from strength to strength although he is on lock down to stop him getting into mischief. Namely his bike has been padlocked away as he attempted to ride it the other day:eek:
I am sorting his many medications and have sorted him a dose type system that my mum can manage. He is a walking miracle :A
Slowly but surely does it today xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Today I'm off out with my dh when he comes back to pick me up. It's my grandsons first full day at school today so we are picking him up and giving him his tea. My daughter will collect him when she finishes work.
The fellas are having a curry tonight whilst they watch Liverpool, tomorrow we are meeting mum and dad for lunch and then Wednesday any last minute shopping my brother wants to do before he flies back on Thursday. It's been lovely having him but I'm looking forward to getting back to normal this week.
Cold wet and windy here, the flowers are taking a bashing.
Have a good day whatever your up to xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all from a chilly, but clear blue sky, part of Kent. Washing blowing away on the line, it smells so fresh when it comes in
Hm bulked out chilli for tea, going to local shopping centre to return shoes and look in L!dl and £l shops, seen good reviews of mascara at both so plan to try one.
Feel as if summer has gone, unpacked our caravan and moved garden umbrella, even put the winter cushion covers to feel cosy in the sitting room.
Hugs to all those having hard times at present.Carolbee0 -
Morning All
Just got back from Doctors for asthma check, she is not happy that my peak flow has started falling again, but it always falls this time of year.
I have also told them that I don't want the flu jab because I have a bad reaction to it every time, she was not happy about that either.....hey hoThe plus side is that my BP has levelled out and that I have now lost just over 2 stone :j.
I have to nip down town to put some money into the bank to cover the car insurance for the year
It has been a tough couple of months finances wise and we are tightening our belts for the oncoming storm that is Atos :mad::mad::mad:
Love the blanket tru :Tyou are so talented, i wish that I could do more crafting, but my hands keep letting me down
TTFM I hope that they accept your proposal, but it sounds to me as if they have already made up their minds
