October half term deals

  • I certainly would not advise you to leave booking till a week before, holidays get more expensive nearer the time when the kids are off school. Canaries will definately be the most expensive, Red Sea area of Egypt may be a little cheaper, Tunisia , Cyprus will be cheaper again. Anywhere else ie Greece, Spain, Islands will be the cheapest because weather is unpredictable. Good Luck.

just booked for 11 of us all inclusive from east midlands to malllorca calla dor leaving on sunday 27th oct for 7 night inc transfers and baggage for £287 pp all atoll protected and great reviews on tripadvisor

If the poster ghdgirl wants sunshine I wouldn't risk Majorca for the end of October, maybe if desperate Benidorm, costa del sol or Portugal would be warmer but really its the canaries or Egypt for sun.

We are going to Tenerife at Oct half term (I'm a teacher too).

Going with Jet2Holidays in a decent 4* AI hotel, £1700 for the 2 of us, early morning Sat flights. Jet2 go from East Mids/Manchester.

There were a few cheaper 3 star deals. Loads of hols to Lanzarote!

Fuerteventura is really nice, we always diy it and book everything ourselves. The resort of Caleta De Fuse is fab. If you want 5* try the Barcello hotels if you want cheap and cheerful go to La Tahona Gardens, they seem to be only doing all inclusive atm but if you give them a call or drop them an email you might be able to secure sc (don't pay much attention to the bad reviews on tripadviser about the last one, it really is very cheap and extremely good value). We have stayed there and even for hb it was under £1000 for 3 of us.
If you don't ask, you don't get! ;)
