Took youngest DD to Morries as she has too much month left until the end of the month IYSWIM and did some basic shopping for her to help her through a lean patch .Bless her both her and her OH work so hard and it seems to be two steps forward and one back for them at the moment .Extra school uniforms and shoes have taken their toll of the families finances, the boys are just growing out of everything.
Son-in-laws jobs been restructured (read pay drop) from June of next year and they will lose 3K a year.As they are just about getting by on what they've got I hate to think what will have to go by next summer.
He works for the KCC and its a case of put up or push off .Dreadful way to treat people I think. He's been there 24 years so he will come way down on redundancies lists I think.
Still we all pull together and I'll help anyway I can even if its only a few bags of groceries.
Right I'm off to put my feet up for half an hour before going to DDs for scrabble with her and the boys and dinner.I had a scout around my cupboards and fished out a few tins and bits to help out.
Take care everyone ,nasty and rainy here at the moment
Cheers JackieO xxx0 -

Evening all,
I'm not posting every day at the mo with my brother visiting its been much busier than usual. Hope everyone is ok.
Last night was a big family party around forty people in the end. My house is good for parties with a big open plan lounge but even so it was full. Luckily the weather held and we put the gazebo up and lit the chimneas in the garden. It was lovely but boy was I shattered last night when I got in bed. I virtually had to crawl up as my knees where struggling with all the cooking and prep I did yesterday.
So today had a nice relaxing day, and for food we've eaten leftovers. My brother has gone out with my other brother for the day, probably have ended up in the pub, so he may be the worst for wear when he gets back:eek:
I'm feeling guilty as I've not done anything for Christmas yet but shall get stuck in once my db goes home on Thursday.
Garden chairs and gazebo now safely stored away for the winter. I'm another one who needs to put away her summer clothes.
I love Autumn, my favourite time of the year.
Have a good evening will try and pop in tomorrow. XStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
