Stanmore or Edgware on the Northern line. Even Burnt oak but personally wouldn't want to leave my car there all day!
  • Stanmore will be full at 9am on a weekday (it's usually full by 8am!)

I'd look at Watford or Hemel Hempstead on the M1 - around 20 mins in to Euston and car parks that will have spaces. Also right off the M1.

OP's first post was on Saturday 14 Sept and says OP is going to London on Friday so that would mean this Friday 20th September?
  • Yes I can confirm I have not yet travelled so thanks to all for yiur advice. Undecided between cockfosters and egdeware. Just looking at the maps.

It is still not too late for any further nuggets of advice......

Well, there's the thameslink, so maybe Radlett? It's only a 10 minute drive from the M1, driving through Bricket wood. It's how I get to London, and the train takes 35 mins into st pancreas

I refer you back to #7 , St Albans .No way you are going to park in Radlett, at that time of day. And if you get on the first train after 9.30 you will be standing all the way.

ooher stanmore for 9am on a weekday good luck with that and the rush hour traffic from Midlands - have done it couple times on a weekday and very congested to say the least.

May be worth looking at rail ticket from Bedford as only 30 mins from there on train and around 1hr give or take 30 mins from Midlands dependent on where you are (I am in Northants)
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
