windows updates

Hi Guys, is anyone having trouble with 3 latest windows updates, as I have updated them at least 5 times, successfully, according to them, yet, they always reappear as updates available, needed.???
they are in the logs, replicated several times as done, but still shows updates?? IS IT ME???? 13th

Try clearing \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and download again.

There is a problem relating to updates for MS Office.

i,ve still got23 installed , with another 3 awaiting, so, don,t know how many to remove, if any, until it,s fixed.friday 13th

If the only problem you're having is those 3 recurring updates, the advice here is to uninstall them and select the option to hide them... and I guess hope Microsoft sort it out soon.

I wouldn't bother deleting folders or anything until a fix becomes clear.

For info, Microsoft say they have fixed the problem with the recurring updates:

I installed them originally (probably 3 times before I twigged!) and I notice that the reminder telling me that I need to install them again has quietly disappeared.

It failed to install these three on mine but I just rebooted and manually ran the update tool and it worked fine. Didn't need to uninstall because they didn't install in the first place.
