I tried ... the cardigan I wanted from BM has disappeared into the ether so I compromised and bought a pack of toy stuffing and some more machine needles.
I got off the bus so easily compared to previous times -I love this medication :T

    Hello x

Donny and Hester - thank you for thinking of me xx

Life has been very full on this week. My dad has come home but there has been lots to organise and do to support him and mum. It is truly a miracle that he is still with us:A

Im beginning to flop now and plan to rest up a bit. The house looks like a bomb has hit it and somehow I need to find the energy to sort it out.

Hilly - you look after yourself and heal xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Honestly you could be talking about my old place, I could never write too much as the person doing the 'sucking up' used to read this, so I had to be careful what I said, I can not tell you the absolute relief I feel now at being out, its like a huge weight has been lifted, hope it all works out for you. Oh and your mince will be fine x

    Morning all,

A bit dull here today weather wise, I am off to work again, which is no hardship at all I love this job, none of the nastiness of the old place :T its a completly different atmosphere.

Smoked sausage with pasta for dinner nice and easy, dd can cook, she can also do a wash and tidy round.

We got her reading list last night from Uni it will be at least £200 on books  (and these are second hand !) and she needs a £100 dictaphone, which we have managed to get for £50, it can only be a certain one !

We did have some great news, DD has been offered a bursary from the uni because of her great exam results, (which she will not have to pay back!!) which is absolutly fantastic, unfortunatly the payment does not come through till Dec, so we will have to buy the books in the mean time, please excuse the proud mum moment :o

Have good days all and hugs to Hilstep xx

My secretary came in my office and she asked me if she could use my dictaphone? I said no use your finger like everyone else.

A quick pop in from me too, to frighten you all by telling of the TERRIBLE AWFUL THING that has happened to me this week...

    ...THE FREEZER BROKE!

Luckily we caught it in time so that I think we've managed to avoid wasting any food, and the landlady has been very good about it and straight away ordered a replacement one. It's due to come tomorrow and I'm really excited (I know, what a saddo!). The biggest problem we've had is trying to squeeze the stuff into other people's freezers in the meantime, we don't know many people nearby and everyone I know is the same as me with playing freezer jenga. Just about got done though.
