There's an inflatable Chesterfield on this American site> -

I think you're going to have to watch the material if you're going to practice your moves on the lady in question. You don't want any squeaking or gurgling!
Also don't want bare legs sticking to the rubber. You may need a material throw to lay on it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.0 -

Thanks for making me spit coffee at work. Snort.
When we got married (99) we inherited a 'sofa' set from the 70's, where the bases were all upholstered styrofoam cubes, and you could either top them with cushions for seating, or glass for a table. Totally modular, and lightweight enough to stack ceiling-high in the corner when not in use.
If it weren't for the trippy green blue brown striped fabric, we might have kept them...
I can't find anything online now that resembles it, but maybe you could hack it somehow?
(oh, btw, that Alibaba link from the other poster, Alibaba is NOT an American site, they are China/Indian resellers, for sure ship to the UK)0 -
I can't help thinking that whenever I've sat on an inflatable or bean bag type of chair/sofa, whenever someone shifts their weight you end up being tipped sideways or on the floor - I can't think it would be easy to subtly 'work moves' on someone if you are both sitting on something like that.
I had two more ideas - how about two chair units from a modular sofa, so you could have them either together or separated depending on what you needed, or how about a sofa with a low back so that you could build a table frame over it and cover with a large throw when you don't want it?
To be honest, I think what you really need is just a normal sofa! It isn't going to be easy to find anything that stores away in a small space because of the size of the cushions.0 -
Hey that could be an advantage the rocking motion of an inflatable. could be a cuoupe de grace, jump down on the sofa and she is thrown into my arms
.
looking at the dimensions of these things they are HUGE.
More like 3 seaters all of the ones ive seen seem about the same.
would want something only about 60" as 100" which is what ive seen to be average so far is gonna be monstrous in my moderate sized living room.
i still like the inflatable idea tho in terms of storage, dont think there is anything better than that.
i think the squidginess could be worked around for the storage/price advantage i think itd be worth it.
the fishing chair idea someone linked to above also has these advantages while probably being more sturdy than the inflatables. some fishing chair style sofa tho it looked like it might not be comfy and if its anything like the fishing chairs i bought it definately wont be!
the jebiga is the one i meant in the links above.
i didnt see any buy button tho so it doesnt look commercially available
it looks like it might be one of those grotesquely extortionately priced pieces similar to how they charge £400-800 for kneeling chairs.
doing a little more searching ive found some aptly named 'love seats' which seem jsut the type of thing im after. not allowed to post links but youll see with a quick search for loveseat.

In that case, wander in to your local Ikea and check the scratch-and-dent area (the bargain basement type place, dunno what they call it in yours). They often have discounted love seats and large, padded ottomans that still look plenty presentable and if you find it's not helpful - chuck it, it was cheap.0
