    I am pleased for you.

I'm still waiting for the 2 weekly ESA payment that was due last Wednesday!!
They have told me (once again!!) that it should be in my bank by tomorrow. Just checked 5mins ago - still outstanding from Canterbury BDC.

Good job that I can afford to wait a week for it. What happens to those that can't?

It sounds like they have something in place to prompt them into making the due payment.

Asking you to let them know is just in case that "something in place" fails.

Hackney BDC have improved over the years and they hardly ever miss a call back now.

Shame that the same can't be said for Canterbury BDC.

You can always start a petition.

Most of them are good people trying to work best they can with the system but you get a few rotten apples.

That's exactly how I view it also. I don't blame the staff I blame the system. Unfortunately the system is as it is.

They could make one change which is to allow the staff on the phone to issue payments rather than passing it onot someone else.

I got a standard letter from them. Does that mean I am off clerical?

If its a standard letter giving a breakdown of your entitlement then more than likely yes
