I am getting fed up with MSE allowing themselves to be used in this way by Asda and or more principally the Petrol Retailers Association/Cartel or whatever they call themselves. Asda is generally the member they use most often to run up the flag and ratchet up the price one week and then knock it down a tad the following week.

And even if we don't buy the message, it messes with our buying habits. That's all it is - cheap trick marketing to unseat us from a pattern which hasn't helped their business (we have been buying less and using our cars less and many of us haven't bought a full tankful for months. They are hoping to tempt us to buy a full tank.

They can whistle for it in my case.

I am so grateful to MSE for providing updates like this. I hope they will be extending the service to things like alerting me each time DFS has a 'sale'.
